Isa 30:19-21, 23-26
Meditation
God is the God of wonders.
He loves humans, and he does many marvellous things for them. We human beings
understand things in signs, and we look for signs from God. God gives us clear
signs for our life. God is not a God of ambiguity. Our God is the God of
clarity and transparency. He does not deceive us or guide us on the wrong path.
Our God is the God of truth, justice and equity of human understanding. He
guides us through his word of God and his signs in our world. He lets every
human person walk on the right path. He will mend the lives of people,
especially those whose lives are broken and shattered. Our God is the God
of hope. Today, there is hopelessness and despair in the world. God comes to
give us hope. At the coming of Jesus, there will be hope, protection and guidance.

Do we trust in the guiding hand
of God in our life?

Meditation
Freely you have Received; Freely Give.
Go rather to the lost sheep of
Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come
near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, and drive
out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. (Mt 10:6-8).
The lost sheep of Israel means
all those who are lost or have gone astray. The mission of Christ embraces
people of all ages, all places, and all groups. The whole creation and humanity
belong to God. The mission of Jesus is to those who are sick, possessed, and
dead. Charity and service are given to us freely, and we are asked to do them
freely. We cannot pay for the service of a mother. In the same way as the
service that the Lord does, we would be able to pay back. The mission principle
is we receive freely and give it freely. The free service of heart for the
kingdom of God will bear fruit.
What are the services I can give
freely to the mission?
