Lord is Alive Among Us!

The  call is to repent and believe in Jesus crucified and risen. Time and again the invitation of God through prophets, through Jesus, through the Apostles and to each one of us alive is to repent. Repentance and getting back to our original state of life is a necessity for the good of human beings just not for the life in this world but life to come.

No one can escape life by living in sin and in wrongdoing. One has to transform himself/herself, look for ways and means to set things right with God and with one another. No one wishes to live without reconciling with God and others. There is a desire to repent and come back to God and live a happy and contented life. Let us give a chance every time and everywhere to repent from evil to good and believe in the Risen Lord who is alive among us.

Do you know that the Risen Lord is alive among us?

Gospel: John 20: 11-18

Meditation

The angels ask the woman, ‘Why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?’ A similar question is asked by Jesus to Mary. Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking? Let us ask ourselves a question so wonderful: Man/woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking? Have you found him? She took Jesus for a gardener. She asked him where he had placed him. He called her Mary, then she recognized the voice and said, ‘RABONNI’. Then she went and proclaimed that 'I have seen the Lord.'

Do I seek Jesus or someone else in my life?

  3rd Week Wednesday of Ordinary Time Year One Heb 10:11-18 Meditation Forgive Yourself and Be Kind to yourself! Jesus once and for all offered the sacrifice and is now seated at the right hand of God. He is waiting for the enemy's fall and eternal life for all creation. It is true that Jesus has reconciled humanity with God once and for all. God has reconciled us to the Father, and we can be set free. We are liberated people of the Lord. We remember our sins; in fact, the memory of sins is a blessing so that we do not fall and fail again. The Lord promised us that he would no longer remember our sins. Suffering for the cause of God and doing great things for the Lord is no avail. It may not make one perfect in life. Doing great things for God without God’s hand and his way is useless.
