Meditation
Grace does Good!
Salvation in
Jesus is not the merit of the individuals; all are sinners beyond redemption.
humans are called to live moral and virtues life to find joy and meaning in
this life and next; they do live virtues life but by human effort alone one
will not be saved. Salvation in not our merits and works but the free and
gratuitous gift of God. God forgives the sinners. Humans lose hope in their
sinful life; no more acts of their own deed and merits can make them contented
to earn salvation, unless the Lord enters into their lives through this
passion, death and resurrection which the plan of the God the Father for the
humanity. God forgave David his sins and blessed his household with the Saviour
of the World. Where there is sin grace is in abundance. It is not an
encouragement for sinful life but the eternal mercy of God to bring one to the
right path of life leading one to eternity.
Do you believe
that grace engulfs the sinner to eternity?
Year Two
Eph
1:11-14
We
are Sealed in the Holy Spirit!
St. Paul reminds us that we have received an inheritance “in Him.” This inheritance isn’t just a future promise—it’s a present reality grounded in our identity as children of God. It includes salvation, adoption, and eternal life. This inheritance isn’t random—it’s part of God’s sovereign and loving plan, "according to the counsel of His will." St. Paul emphasizes that those who hope in Christ are meant to live "to the praise of His glory." Our lives are not just for our comfort or success—they are meant to reflect God’s greatness. This gives meaning to both our joy and our suffering. The moment we believe in Christ, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. This seal signifies ownership, protection, and authenticity. Security in Salvation: Your salvation is not fragile.
You have been sealed by the Holy
Spirit, and that seal is God’s mark of ownership and assurance. Purpose in
Life: You were created and chosen not just for yourself, but to live in a way
that glorifies God. Let that truth shape your decisions, goals, and
relationships. Hope for the Future: No matter what happens in life, your
eternal inheritance is safe. The Spirit reminds you daily that God is faithful
to complete what He has started.
God
brings everything to good end!
Lk 12:1-7
God cares!
“I tell you, my friends, do not
fear those who kill the body and after that can do nothing more. But I will show you whom to fear: fear the
one who, after killing, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear
that one! Are not five sparrows sold for
two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight. But even the
hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are of more value
than many sparrows (Lk 12:4-7).
We fear because we do not have
the assurance of someone. God is our assurance. We are in his care. We need not
be frightened. When the child is in the hands of a mother, it has no fear. Like
the child we are in the wonderful protection and care of God. He knows us and
we need not fear. If there is fear that is because of our lack of trust in God
who cares for us. We are precious to God; we are valued by God and he will not
abandon us. Every move and event of our life is known to God. Be sure of God's
care and you will live a life of freedom and happiness.
Do I trust in providential care
of God?
