Humans Like to
Know!
Humans like to
know the secrets of life. In humans, there is a thirst for knowing and to be
satisfied with the knowledge. God has
been manifesting himself to humanity in various ways. Humans as they are not
able to understand the ways and wonders of God. God has definitively revealed
himself through Jesus Christ to humanity. This is made known to Israel and to the
Gentiles.
The truth and
secret is that Jesus is the Saviour. He is to be known, loved and adored. Jesus
will fulfil all the needs of humanity. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
Blessed is those who find Jesus. Jesus can make human life meaningful. Blessed are
those who live by the message of Jesus and proclaim him as Master and Saviour
of humanity.
Are we content
with the Knowledge of Jesus as Truth?

One
has to Learn to be Happy!
St Paul’s
words, “I have learned to be content with whatever I have”, challenge our
modern restlessness. We often link happiness to comfort, success, or
possessions. St Paul reminds us that true peace comes from Christ alone, who
gives strength in every situation. Whether in abundance or in hardship, faith
anchors us in God’s providence.
The verse
“I can do all things through him who strengthens me” is not a promise of
worldly success, but a declaration of spiritual resilience. It’s about
enduring, serving, and remaining faithful no matter what life brings, because
Christ empowers us from within.
Finally,
St Paul’s confidence that “my God will fully satisfy every need of yours”
reveals his unshakable belief in God’s care. When we give generously and trust
fully, we open ourselves to the abundance of God’s grace, not necessarily in
wealth, but in peace, love, and the joy of knowing we are provided for.
Do we
believe we lack nothing that we are in need?
Lk 16:9- 15
The Law and the Kingdom of God
The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard
all this, and they ridiculed him. So, he
said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of others, but
God knows your hearts, for what is prized by humans is an abomination in the
sight of God (Lk 16:14-15).
The values of the kingdom are
different from worldly values and standards.
If one is faithful in little things, he will be faithful in big things.
No man serves two masters. One has to choose between the two choices in life,
for good or bad. Many choose money and unfaithfulness instead of God and
faithfulness. The ultimate aim of our life is to choose value and God. To the
worldly people, the teaching of Jesus continues to be strange.
Do you value money or God?
