Pray in the
Church has Value!
The worship was
done to sanctify the altar of God for 2300 mornings and evenings or 1150 days
that is about two and half years which roughly corresponds to length of the desecration of the sanctuary. The scripture is not only the facts of life
but it corresponds to life and reality of life of the persons of the dead and
living. The word of God is alive and leading us on the right path. We are
called to worship the Lord in the temple of hearts and much more in the church
which are built in his name and honour.
King Solomon
built the temple of Jerusalem and dedicated to God and knowing that God would
not be contained in the temple. God is present all over the universe. People
build and rebuild temple and places for God to pray and to gather together in
the name of God to worship and praise him. It is true that we worship God in
temple but humans should learn to worship him in every place. The true worship
will be offered in truth and spirit.
Do we take joy
in worshipping the Lord in the Church built and consecrated for him?
Year Two
Rev 10:8-11
Let Us Live the Word of God!
The Scroll was opened and it was
eaten; so, the stomach was made bitter and the mouth was sweet. St John was
told to prophesy to many people and many nations and languages and kings. The
Word of God is sweet in the mouth but it is bitter in the stomach. The Word of
God is very nice for ears and mouth but when it enters heart to ponder and live
is hard.
The Word of God has to take flesh
in us in word and action in our life as it has taken flesh in the life of our
Blessed Mother. It has to be proclaimed to everyone. There is no distinction
based on any division to let the Word of God be made available. The Word of God
has to be heard, pondered in the heart and it has to be lived in action. Let
the Word of God rule our lives.
Are we aware that the Word of God
is living?
LK 19:45-48
Have Good Zeal for House of God!
the Then he entered the temple and began to
drive out those who were selling things there, and he said, “It is written, ‘My
house shall be a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers.
“Every day he was teaching in the temple. The chief priests, the scribes, and
the leaders of the people kept looking for a way to kill him, but they did not
find anything they could do, for all the people were spellbound by what they
heard. (LK 19:45-48).
The Lord's house is called the
house of prayer. In prayer we thank, praise, adore and glorify God. The place,
where do we pray, would be of peaceful, calm, serene and blessed. The place of
prayer is a place of blessing. People forget themselves in the place of prayer
and get united with God. In places of
prayer people will be good to themselves and good to others. They feel the
holiness of the place and the presence of God. It is in such a place the evil
activity is encouraged by evil people. Let us be aware of it. Let us keep God's
house as house of prayer and not a business place.
Keep the Church and home as House
of prayer?
