December 17 Meditation Prayer for Justice!

Give the king your justice, O God, and your righteousness to a king’s son. May he judge your people with righteousness (Ps 72:1-2).

King is the one who gets justice to the people.  In the Psalm a prayer is made for the king and to his son to do justice and righteousness. Rulers are under the authority of God and that is what keeps them humble and give justice and righteousness to their subjects.

Are we aware we are all under the authority of God? Fr Putti Anthaiah Sdb

Suffering for the cause of God and doing great things for the Lord is no avail. It may not make one perfect in life. Doing great things for God without God’s hand and his way is useless.
