Be Firm in Faith

Faith is God’s gift. Some people do question their faith. Some others doubt their faith. Some people test their faith and yet others give up their faith. Though faith is taught and learned from others; it grows strong in one's life as one experiences life and its hardships. One who goes through all trials and comes out in trust with God is the one who has deep faith.

The gold has to be tested with fire to prove its purity and value. In the same way, one’s faith has to grow through tough times. People of faith live by the Word of God. Their lives are transformed. They stand as witnesses to the Kingdom of God and its values. One has to stand firm in the faith of the Lord. The Kings and rulers of this earth fight battles and govern their kingdoms but every kingdom and people belong to the supreme Lord. It is in God that we should trust and place our hope in him.

  3rd Week Wednesday of Ordinary Time Year One Heb 10:11-18 Meditation Forgive Yourself and Be Kind to yourself! Jesus once and for all offered the sacrifice and is now seated at the right hand of God. He is waiting for the enemy's fall and eternal life for all creation. It is true that Jesus has reconciled humanity with God once and for all. God has reconciled us to the Father, and we can be set free. We are liberated people of the Lord. We remember our sins; in fact, the memory of sins is a blessing so that we do not fall and fail again. The Lord promised us that he would no longer remember our sins. Suffering for the cause of God and doing great things for the Lord is no avail. It may not make one perfect in life. Doing great things for God without God’s hand and his way is useless.
