Isa 38:1-6, 21-22

God Gives a Second Chance

Hezekiah was told by Isaiah that his illness would take him to death. God ordered him to put his household in order. God warns us to keep our household in order from impending danger and death. One has to act accordingly to keep order in his/her life. The life warnings are there before every dangerous situation. The Lord is good enough to show us a way to set things right. Let us see things right as early as possible and live well.

Hezekiah prayed and cried to the Lord and the Lord heard his prayer and gave him another fifteen years to live. The Lord is kind enough to give us time and possibilities to amend our ways. The Lord has given us time and we have to make use of it well to come back to the Lord. Blessed are the people who consider that they are given a second life or second choice to live and make an effort to live well for the love of the Lord.

Do we consider that God has given most of us a second chance?

Suffering for the cause of God and doing great things for the Lord is no avail. It may not make one perfect in life. Doing great things for God without God’s hand and his way is useless.   3rd Week Wednesday of Ordinary Time Year One Heb 10:11-18 Meditation Forgive Yourself and Be Kind to yourself! Jesus once and for all offered the sacrifice and is now seated at the right hand of God. He is waiting for the enemy's fall and eternal life for all creation. It is true that Jesus has reconciled humanity with God once and for all. God has reconciled us to the Father, and we can be set free. We are liberated people of the Lord. We remember our sins; in fact, the memory of sins is a blessing so that we do not fall and fail again. The Lord promised us that he would no longer remember our sins.
