God's Love is Lasting

A bond between the love and beloved, wife and husband is deep and lasting. So is the love of God for Israel. God loves humanity as his spouse. His love is expressed in terms of conjugal terms as to understand that God’s love is not one fancy show for name sake but it is full of commitment and responsibility.

Keeping aside the love bond between the spouses, one can note how committed they are to each other, to their posterity and to their household. A responsibility which needs a lot of sacrifices; even at the cost of losing their love for each other for the good and well-being of the other members who are in their care.

  3 rd February 2024 4th Week: Ordinary Time Monday Heb 11:32-40 Mediations Let us Go on God's Way! Great men and women in the history of God’s plan suffered. Suffering for the cause of God and doing great things for the Lord is no avail. It may not make one perfect in life. Doing great things for God without God’s hand and his way is useless.   3rd Week Tuesday of Ordinary Time Year One Heb 10:1-10 Meditation Dance in the Presence of God! The priests' offerings of the day need to be offered for sin to be forgiven every year. Once forgiven, one’s conscience should not weigh them down for every sin. Sin leads to evil and death. Forgiveness of sin leads to life. Sin can be forgiven through fasts, penances and offerings to God. Jesus has come to forgive sins, and his forgiveness is accomplished by doing the will of God. Jesus, by doing the will of God, once and for all, forgave the sins of humanity. It is the will of God that Jesus, by his obedience to the will of the Father, die and bring salvation for eternity.
