I am with You

The Lord calls Jeremiah. Jeremiah was a young man. He touches his mouth and puts his word in his mouth. The call is from God. The call of God is for a purpose. It does not matter where you are.   What you are? What matters is the call, commission and mission. The Lord certainly needs human yes to God. To say yes to God’s call, one needs humanity. Letting go of one's ego and will. Allowing one to be guided by the Lord.

As it was said of Jesus that he is going to be for rise and fall of many. So also every prophet and minister is going to be for the rise and fall of many. The ministry has to build and destroy for the good of the Kingdom of God. Let the prophet be the prophet and let everyone who has fear of the Lord follow the prophet's words. God’s prophets are not away in the desert but they are among us. God speaks to us to the Word of God.

Forgive Yourself and Be Kind to yourself!

  3rd Week Wednesday of Ordinary Time Year One Heb 10:11-18 Meditation Forgive Yourself and Be Kind to yourself! Jesus once and for all offered the sacrifice and is now seated at the right hand of God. He is waiting for the enemy's fall and eternal life for all creation. It is true that Jesus has reconciled humanity with God once and for all. God has reconciled us to the Father, and we can be set free. We are liberated people of the Lord. We remember our sins; in fact, the memory of sins is a blessing so that we do not fall and fail again. The Lord promised us that he would no longer remember our sins. It seems like a paradox: God forgets our sins, and we remember them. Forgiving oneself is a gift to oneself, and faith to trust in his promises. Do we forgive ourselves?   3 rd February 2024 4th Week: Ordinary Time Monday Heb 11:32-40 Mediations Let us Go on God's Way! Great men and women in the history of God’s plan suffered. Suffering for the cause of God and doing great things for the Lord is no avail. It may not make one perfect in life. Doing great things for God without God’s hand and his way is useless. One has to suffer rightly for the cause of God, and it is God who gives us perfection through his grace. It is not that we have gained perfection through our efforts.
