January 12 Meditation: God is Full of Love!

What shall I return to the Lord for all his bounty to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord (Ps 116: 12-13).

We cannot sufficiently thank parents and for the matter even God too. Their love has no limits and their love is selfless and their only wishes good of their children. God and parents give us food and health. Those who are hungry and sick know the value of food and health respectively. God without knowing and parents in the known form feeds us and heals us. So, it is our duty to love God and show honour to our parents. Do we call God’s name to thank him. Fr Putti Anthaiah Sdb

Suffering for the cause of God and doing great things for the Lord is no avail. It may not make one perfect in life. Doing great things for God without God’s hand and his way is useless.   5 th Week Tuesday of Ordinary Time Year One Gen 1:20-2:4 Meditation Use Freedom Well! God made the universe and created man and woman to live in the world. He created the special. He made them in his image. He did not make them like him. He made them in his image, which would mean he made them almost like him but human. He did not make them control and subjugate them, but he gave them freedom. Freedom is the greatest gift that God has given us. The most needed and wanted is freedom.
